Culture Quest
A celebration of the Quest Play project with contributions from Forkbeard Fantasy, the
Barbican Theatre, the egg Theatre Royal Bath, Kate Green and Parkour Experience
At Spanish Barn, Torre Abbey, Torquay - 6.30 to 8.30pm
Quest Play Torbay
Last year a team of artists and playworkers worked with over 30 young people to live Quest performances at three heritage venues in Torbay: Greenway, Cockington Court and Torquay Museum. These magical performances combined theatre, film, sound, animation and photography sharing histories and stories at each location
Torbay Story Hunters
The final phase of this project is the creation of an on-line digital trail encompassing the different elements of Quest Play, film, photographs, animations and sound recordings. The aim of the trail is to provide a game-like experience which encourages people to visit the three sites in the future. This evening will launch the Torbay story hunters digital trail
Explorer/Arts Award
A significant achievement of Quest Play was that over 30 young people (over 50% with learning disabilities) achieved their Explorer/Arts Award during Quest Play – a huge undertaking!
