The Changing Faces of War - talk by David Pinder, Tues 30 Aug

Join us and David Pinder in the gallery on tuesday 30 August for a talk about 'The Changing Faces of War.

David Pinder is a retired army officer and local historian, who's vast collection of original WW1 postcards are on display in our most recent exhibition 'Postkarte/Postcards From the Front'.

This Heritage Lottery Funded exhibition gives a unique insight into the lives of WW1 soldiers as many of the cards on display contain the written messages of the young men on both sides of the Front writing to family and loved ones.
