Spend a day being experimental! Explore controlled etching and build up images, with time for proof printing plates as well.

Sugarlift is a way of making positive marks on an etching plate. Stopping out and etching in stages produces tonal variation.

Spit-bite is a way of applying the etching solution, (we will be using copper sulphate solution), directly onto the plate to etch specific areas.
