the places we live and the landscape around us.

Make maps, giant landscapes and tactile models!

The project is led by artist Amy Hirst who has ten years experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities. All sessions are supported by experienced staff.

The project will be shaped by the interests and abilities of the young people with the opportunity for independent work. Participants will be encouraged and supported to document their own creative process and experiences to make a portfolio or project diary to take home; taking images and video footage throughout the sessions to produce a digital recording of the workshops
