We will be running our first collection of evening workshops in June known as 'Taster Sessions', they are designed for people who have little or no prior knowledge or experience of printmaking. These sessions are also great for those who want a refresher of a particular technique.

Our first #workshop in June will be linocut printmaking!

This evening session will introduce you to the technique of linocut, a form of ‘relief’ or ‘block’ printing, where a lino block is cut into using specialist tools or ‘gouges’, and a print is taken from the surface. Learners will be guided through the process of cutting, inking and printing a lino block, using our large imperial platen press.
