This #PTKdemo runs alongside our exhibition of work by Artists@WYPW in January – our multi-talented group of studio holders, of which Clare Grace is one. The exhibition is based on collaboration and exchange of skills and ideas, focusing on simple methods of printmaking. In this session, Clare will be talking about and demonstrating how she uses the screen drawing fluid method. This technique involves drawing and #painting directly onto a blank silkscreen to create positive marks which can then be printed from. It is an alternative to the widely-used photo-exposure technique and can be used to great effect.
