Flourish Award 2015 exhibition

Come and visit us in Mirfield for our latest exhibition 'Flourish'. Now on display until
7 November.

The Flourish exhibition brings together a wide range of prints made by artists shortlisted for this year’s award, selected by an independent panel of judges. Fine art printmaker Anne Desmet, Huddersfield Art Gallery manager Ruth Gamble and Hepworth curator Holly Grange, have carefully considered artworks entered from all over the country. Their selection presents a diverse, rich and imaginative group of printmakers.

The winner of the Flourish Award is Sumi Perera who will receive a two week residency at West Yorkshire Print Workshop and the chance to present a solo print exhibition at Huddersfield Art Gallery in Autumn 2016. Visitors to the exhibition are encouraged to select their own favourites too for our People’s Choice Award, which will be announced at the end of the exhibition.

The Shortlisted artists on display for Flourish Award 2015 exhibition are: Neil Bousfield, Sarah Harris, Biddy Hudson, Simon Lewis, Moira McTague, Stef Mitchell, Georgia Peskett, Sumi Perera, Graham Riding, Jenny Thomas and Sam Towler.
