Etching Weekend – April

This course is all about learning the basics of etching. You will learn how to use hard ground, soft ground and aquatint to enable you to create a wide variety of marks and effects. Hard ground produces crisp, clean lines, while soft ground can create softer, textured, crayon-like lines and impressions, and aquatint is way of creating tone. All these techniques can be used in conjunction to create etching plates
