Come and join printmaker Katherine Jones for a weekend masterclass in collagraph printmaking! This is a fantastic opportunity to learn this versatile technique from an expert, and to see her work in the flesh in the accompanying exhibition in our gallery space.

Collagraph is a method of intaglio printmaking which uses texture to create a wide variety of tone and line on a plate. The plate is printed using an etching press although unlike an etching the materials are largely non-specialist and the plate-making process is naturally non-toxic.

This particular class will focus on a simple method of making a collagraph, using it in combination with a second quick relief print. The course will benefit beginners as well as those with some knowledge of printmaking.
