Immersive Writing Lab Competition
The Immersive Writing Lab is looking for entrants for its Immersive Writing Lab Competition.
Can you create a storyworld - a world that the characters, story and most importantly the audience can get lost in?
Think the Matrix, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Lost, Marvel Universe - world's so dense, they move beyond linear narrative, with characters and audience having multiple perspectives on the events that impact that world.
Over the next 3 months the Immersive Writing Lab will be looking to help you understand how this world can be created in five stages - world; character; story; audience; and medium.
At the end, one lucky writer will have the opportunity to win 6k to see their storyworld developed by Portal Entertainment, a cross-platform production with backgrounds on Doctor Who and branded entertainment.
The next five have their work reviewed and fed back on by Sarah Clay, Exec Multiplatform Producer (Becoming Human, E20, Waterloo Reunited).
Deadline: 21 November, 2011
