Youth Dance England is running a free event for dance artists/practitioners, employers, and dance organisations to demonstrate the effects of the new Diploma in Dance Teaching and Learning (Children and Young People) on the industry and on their work.

The Diploma for Dance Teaching and Learning (Children and Young People) (DDTAL) is a new benchmark qualification designed by the dance industry for the dance industry.

Following a successful pilot project, Youth Dance England invites you to a free one-day event where, for the first time, candidates who have taken the Diploma, and organisations who provide training or employ DDTAL graduates,
will share their experiences firsthand.

Dance artists/practitioners, employers, and dance organisations – this event is for you to better understand what this major development means for your work.

Times: 10.30am – 4pm

What will the day involve?

Following an introduction to the Qualification, the programme will include a session presenting case studies and testimonies from candidates and employers alike. The afternoon will involve break-out sessions delving into the distinct experiences of training providers, artists taking the Qualification, and employers. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
