Woven in a Day - Dewsbury Town Centre

Experience WOVEN in one day as Dewsbury town centre is taken over with textile themed activities. And you can join in with the The Big Knit at the same time.

Activities include an Upcycle Challenge where four teams are set the challenge to source and combine 5 garments and create 1 recycled garment out of them, and an Upcycle Fashion and Garment repair workshop.

There are drop in sessions to get involved in including Creating the Woven Patchwork banner, Mini Woven Hangings, and an Introduction into Embroidery.

The Dhol Drummer and Bhangra Dancers will be performing.

Events take place at various times between 10 am and 3 pm.
