Hug Outdoor Weaving Workshops
Join artists Adrian & Annabel in creating your own woven textile artworks across Algernon Firth Park in Heckmondwike!
We’re inviting you to create your own textile artworks on fences across the park as part of HUG. Adrian & Annabel will demonstrate techniques to weave your own words of encouragement and optimism.
People of all ages are welcome – children must be supervised by an adult. Tickets are free, but booking is essential.
10am - 4pm
Please note this will be an outdoor activity so please come prepared for the weather. The latest government guidelines for COVID-19 have been followed in the planning. The activity will be filmed and photographed for promotional purposes – if you don’t wish not be included please notify the artists on arrival.
Artists Adrian & Annabel will be embracing Kirklees in a visual hug, weaving the words of local residents into fences in Cleckheaton, Heckmondwike and Dewsbury.
