Botanical illustration: medicinal plants
The tradition of botanical illustration dates back 2,000 years, when the recording of plant information helped botanists to identify herbs for medicinal purposes. During this course you will identify medicinal herbs that grow at the museum, before learning the art of botanical illustrations through accurate observation drawing, watercolour painting techniques and demonstrations from your tutor. The course is suitable for all abilities. 10am–4pm
Leader: Leigh Ann Gale
Saturday 1 June £60
