The Forgotten Heroes Childrens Workshops
Learning Through the Arts are hosting children's half-term craft workshops at the museum and Watford Central Library. It is a great chance to learn more about the 'Forgotten Heroes' of WW1, with a particular focus on stories about Africans involved in the conflict.
Watford Central Library:
Tuesday 26 May - Explore maps in Africa and Europe during 1914 and 2014
Wednesday 27 May - Crafty session! Make a replica WW1 plane or ship
Watford Museum:
Thursday 28 May - children will have the chance to print their own T-Shirt with a peace message.
Friday 29 May - children can illustrate a story with paint and mixed media.
