Space2 - Jo Atherton - Flotsam Exhibition

An exhibition of tapestries comprised from material curated and delivered by the sea. Toys from the USA to Italian plastic shipping tags all find their way into Atherton's intricate weavings. The exhibition documents our throwaway society and the stories of these orphaned objects.

Jo Atherton will also be holding a weaving workshop for 8 - 18 year olds on Thursday 29 May 10.30am - 12pm. You will have the chance to create your very own tapestry from a range of different materials, not to mention a weaving demonstration and a special treasure hunting game!
Booking for the workshop is essential.
