I am the chair of Ver Poets, a Herts-based poetry society that recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary. We have a Facebook group and a Twitter feed. We have monthly meetings and frequent informal workshops to improve, refine and enjoy our poems. We run member competitions and a renowned and successful Open Competition.
Members receive newsletters and new entrants get a detailed critique of 6 of their poems.
