Ladram Bay, Holiday Park: Pool House Refit

Following on from the successful completion of the Owners Lounge and Swimming pool Changing rooms, Ladram Bay Holiday Park have asked Fruition to come up with a design for the refurbishment of the overall swimming pool and adjoining Reception / Café areas.

Stepping away from the traditional cold floor tile usually associated with swimming pools, Fruition have opted to create a warmer contemporary feel through the use of a ‘ timber deck effect ‘ floor tile surrounding the swimming pool. This finish will continue up the back wall creating a strong backdrop for the kids play area of slides and water features. The adjacent wall is punctuated with brightly colored recesses breaking up the long span and forming relaxing lounger zones.

The Reception / Café area houses a curved, stone clad counter with recessed food display. Fixed bench-seating complement the overall curving shape of the area, while a mix of casual dining chairs and a raised lounge area provide a casual and relaxing family area. The overall feel is of casual ‘ beach-side café’ portrayed through a simple pallet of rustic timber, slate floor and brightly colored furnishings.
