TSE Productions win FSB Hertfordshire Business Award
TSE Productions were named Dacourm Business of the year at the 2014 FSB Hertfordshire Business awards held at Shendish Manor on the 12th June.
The live event producers were thrilled to win the prestigious award which follows them recently being nominated for an Inspiring Hertfordshire award as well.
It’s been a fantastic start to 2014 for the close knit team of creative event professionals whose offices are based on the Gaddesden Estate. From being commissioned to create the unique “Kings Landing” sign by HBO for the launch of the Games of Thrones DVD through to the design and build of bespoke stage sets for the inaugural Creative Week at BAFTA, this diverse business’s talents don’t stop there. They have an expanding entertainment strand, which draws on the team’s past experiences as professional performers, to see them producing musicals and themed shows for the international cruise market.
TSE are no strangers to producing high profiles events, having been awarded a contract in 2012 to produce the Arts In Parliament programme of work at the Houses Of Parliament for the London Olympics. This unique event saw them resident at Westminster for 3 months producing and managing this entertainment programme which saw them collaborating with the likes of the National Theatre, becoming the first producers of a play in Westminster Hall within in its 1000 year history.
They also work locally across Hertfordshire producing the annual University of Hertfordshire Sports Awards and the Herts School Games opening ceremony on a yearly basis.
Winning awards isn’t new for Joint owner and founder of TSE Productions, John Thompson, as his choreography and artistic direction skills have previously been recognised on two occasions by the Fellowship of British Hairdressers for producing high end fashion shows for the hair and beauty industry.
John said “it is an honour to have our work recognised. Usually we are the producers of award ceremonies such as this, so it was a great to be on the other side and sit back and enjoy the evening. We would like to thank the Dacorum Look No Further team at Dacorum Borough Council for their continued support and encouragement. ”
