SAMs Refugee Appeal

The team at Trestle are delighted to be able to support this brilliant fundraising event set up by local mums. Join them and us on Sunday 18 October for a family fundraising day to raise money for the Syrian Refugee Crisis.

The event will lead directly into The Live Music Project Acoustic Cafe – Please help us spread the word and we hope to see you there.

Following the recent harrowing media images and reports of the current refugee crisis, a post on ‘St Albans’ Mums’ Facegroup group compelled a group of strangers to form ‘St Albans’ Mums’ Refugee Appeal’ to help these child refugees.

We have set ourselves a target of raising £6,000 through a multi-event fundraiser culminating in a weekend extravaganza on 16th-18th October including a Wellbeing Event, a Bring and Buy Sale and a Family Fun Day. As well as this, we will be hosting an online auction and raffle.

All money collected will go to Save the Children Fund and MOAS charities.
