Make your own gloriously symmetrical Christmas cards!

William De Morgan was fascinated by the mystic use of the circle in art spanning different cultures and times; from ancient mythology to the Islamic tiles made for centuries in Turkey. De Morgan based his designs on these properties, which are also essential elements of maths. Join Sarah to discover De Morgan’s circular designs and recreate them as a beautiful Christmas card to astonish your family, or even your maths teacher!

Talks will be held in the galleries between 11 am - 4 pm
