MOTORISED LEGO SANTA’S SLEIGH BUILDING WORKSHOP
If you're looking for a family-friendly Christmas-themed event with a difference, Torquay Museum is hosting a motorised Lego Santa’s sleigh building workshop, run by the Lego building experts at Brick Ideas. Participants will not only build their sleighs in small groups, but will then race them. The two hour family-friendly workshop costs £5 per person, which includes free entry to the Museum, but booking in advance is essential as places are very limited. Call the Museum on 01803 293975 to reserve your tickets, or book HERE via Eventbrite (a small booking fee is charged by Eventbrite).
There will also be a fun festive trail – the Snowman Gift Hunt, where children will follow clues hidden around the Museum and win a prize. This will be available throughout the festive period. There are lots of other activities for children in this family-friendly museum, where they can hunt down the clues in the spooky Curse of the Mummy's Hand game, and crack the secret code to the safe on the Explorer's Trail. Many of the exhibits are interactive and fun, and are suitable for little hands and curious minds. The Museum even has its very own mummy - if you're brave enough to go and see him.
