MARIANNE NORTH: BOTANICAL ARTIST AND EXPLORER. Dr Lisa Coles tells the story of this intrepid Victorian woman's travels to remote parts of the world to record exotic flora. Marianne developed the only permanent solo exhibition by a woman painter in Britain, at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where vistiors still flock to see her exquisite work.
