Torbay culture forum event: creative industries

Join us at South Devon College on 12th July for the sixth Torbay Culture Forum event focusing on creative and digital industries.
During this free, morning event, we will explore how we can work together to support sectors such as design, hi-tech, digital and gaming, art, advertising, publishing, performance, film and T.V. in Torbay and beyond.
You will hear Arts Council England and Creative England talk about investment, support and funding to help creative businesses of all sizes reach their full creative and commercial potential. Silicon Beach will then share what Bournemouth is doing to grow its digital and creative economy and offer thoughts towards a potentially replicable framework for Torbay.
You'll also hear about South Devon College's new Hi-Tech and Digital Skills Centre, from the Torbay Development Agency and from local case studies who will give their thoughts on how Torbay could become a more fertile environment for growth.
These presentations will be followed by a 'round table discussion' with all event attendees to discuss everything that has been heard and consider what actions are needed next.
