Berry Head Bat Walk
A unique opportunity to see the rare Greater Horseshoe bats at Berry Head, a Geopark Gateway Site. The Greater Horseshoe bats live in the caves formed in the 400 million year old limestone cliffs. We will begin at the Visitor Centre to see the bats in their roost using the cave camera. We then head out onto the reserve to see how our cows help to feed the bats, before moving on to watch the spectacle of the bats emerging from their roost, using bat detectors to hear their calls.
