The Jørgensen Trio is a vibrant, young, award-winning piano trio, formed in 2012. Their colourful, rich recital for Dartington explores the lush romanticism of Rachmaninov, Schnittke’s darkly dramatic trio, and Pärt’s homage to Mozart.

Awarded the Jacob Barnes Scholarship Prize in 2014, The Jørgensen Trio were able to develop an exciting concert series in London, featuring music from across the world, working alongside jazz and world musicians. They have also won the prestigious Harry Isaacs Beethoven Piano Trio Prize, adjudicated by Amandine Savary. Recent recitals include performances at Colston Hall in Bristol, the National Gallery, Regent Hall and Southwark Cathedral in London, and at Norfolk and Norwich Festival.
