THEATRE ON WAX is seeking live acts to perform either at the EVENT or in the vicinity during the evening of 15th JULY 2015. The organizers are interested in actors, dramatic storytellers, musical theatre, puppeteers, animators, drama groups and alternative theatre.
Vinyl, LP, Wax & Records is an evening event that celebrates local dramatic arts at roots level, where everyone pitches in and everyone gets something back.
It is the goal of the event to include local artists but submissions would be accepted from anywhere. If you want to be considered for this special event please e-mail theatreonwax@yahoo.co.uk with the title ‘LP Café WAX NIGHT’ and provide the following information: Contact Name, Name of Group (if applicable), Contact Phone Number, Contact e-mail, Web-site (if applicable), sample of your work (video, images (JPEG 300dpi 4X6, video or audio). Include a sample that exemplifies your talent. Performers of all ages and ranges should submit but your proposal must be linked to the theme for the evening.
We strongly recommend that you visit the LP Café to see if your proposal may be appropriate. It is a limited space and viewing may help you adapt your idea. It also serves some great cakes, tea and coffee in one of the friendliest places you could visit, so it wouldn’t be a wasted trip.
We will be accepting submissions through the end of JUNE 2015. Theatre on Wax will review all submissions and acts and will respond in timely manner.
