Vertu

This exhibition presents drawings, prints, paintings and objets d’art by Liz Boast who has had a studio here since 1999. It shows a new series of her oil paintings based on life drawings and worked on over time until the actual form is almost lost. Harlequins, always a favourite of Liz, are included in the exhibition. The title VERTU means objets d:art, items collected from car boot sales, junk shops, and donations, which have been used as subject matter for many of her art works.
