MAKE 2016 - Contemporary Crafts for Christmas
19 November 2016 – 2 January 2017

MAKE is our annual Christmas selling exhibition celebrating the diversity of contemporary craft and orientated towards the Christmas gift buying market.
The exhibition focuses on selling handmade, high quality craftsmanship, highlighting one-off, unique pieces alongside small-scale batch production and orientated towards the Christmas gift buying market. The exhibition is open to any contemporary craftsperson and designer-maker practicing within the UK whose work fits these criteria. We are particularly looking for makers who produce exciting and contemporary work.
The Christmas period is a key time for sales; during the run of MAKE 2015 14,378 people visited the exhibition, over £22,000 in sales were achieved and approximately 5,500 visited online.

HOW TO SUBMIT

• Six digital images (examples of current work)
• Artist’s statement
• Current trade prices
• CV
Deadline: 25 July 2016, 9.00am

We will acknowledge all submissions by email. If you do not get a reply please send your submission again.
On average we receive 150 applications of which we can only choose about 50, therefore submissions not in the required format will not be eligible.
