The Clay Mill is a new ceramics studio in the centre of Slaithwaite, offering tuition, tech support and space to create in clay.

As well as teaching beginners and those with some experience, the Clay Mill offers space to artists on a a membership scheme or a short term project based hire.

We have currently have 5 wheels, a 7.5 cubit foot top-loading kiln, a small kiln sitter kiln and access to clay and glazes.

We undertake commissions, large scale community projects and educational approaches to exploring science in clay.
