Opportunity : Eliza’s Seven Swans

We are looking for seven volunteers to be part of the marketing and publicity campaign for our Christmas show Eliza and The Wild Swans.

This winter, fly away with us on a quest for family, love and redemption in a bold adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale Wild Swans. As sharp as a nettle sting, as tender as a bird’s wing and as refreshing as Russia’s icy wind, Eliza and the Wild Swans will transport you to another universe. This new production is being created in collaboration with acclaimed company The Wardrobe Ensemble who use physical theatre, live music and inventive stagecraft to make theatre which explores, questions, and celebrates human life.

It will be up to the Seven Swans to act as the public face of the production, swimming through Christmas events, such as the turning on of the Christmas lights, Christmas fairs, markets and other events across Exeter.

In return each swan will all be offered:

2 Free tickets to see the production between the 17th and 19th of December.
2 Free tickets which can be used at The Bike Shed Theatre during 2014.
1 ticket for the Eliza and the Wild Swans press night, which will include free Christmas drinks, nibbles and the chance to rub shoulders with important press and figures from Exeter’s Arts scene.
1 Meet and Greet, the chance to meet The Wardrobe Ensemble and production team.
1 Free mulled wine or soft drink every time you appear for us at an event.

Not only that but you’ll get the chance to meet the other swans, the lovely people at The Bike Shed Theatre and share some Christmas cheer!
