Henry Higgins, professor of phonetics and speech therapist to the stars, makes a bet that he can pass off working-class Eliza Doolittle as a minor royal. George Bernard Shaw’s most popular play is re-imagined in the image-conscious modern world of fashion and celebrity. A fast-paced satire of society, snobbery and appearance over substance, presented by The Barefoot Players as part of Brighton Festival Fringe 2013.
