The Age We Are - the coming together of 10 young local actors, musicians and directors – are previewing their inaugural Edinburgh Fringe Festival production Inevitable at The Riviera in August.
Devised by the group, under the directorship of Leigh Toney, Inevitable is a touching amalgamation of storytelling, physical theatre and clowning. Drawing on current educational and arts reforms, The Age We Are have expanded upon them to create an agrarian authoritarian regime devoid of culture and extinct of the arts in a show that is as sombre as it is laugh-out-loud funny.
The company, boasting some familiar faces, have already held successful fundraising events at Teignmouth Rugby Club and The Riviera for local supporters of the ensemble. This is a not to be missed opportunity to see this promising emerging company in action before taking their exciting work to Edinburgh.
