Temporary Contemporary Happening

Join us for the next Temporary Contemporary Happening in Queensgate Market for an evening of art, installations, music and food.

Thursday 21st February, 5 – 7.30pm. All welcome. Entrance via Princess Street or Peel Street.

The evening will feature:

Market Gallery exhibition: Synthetic Spaces: The Digital Exploration of Three Sites in Huddersfield is an exhibition by Professor Nic Clear and Hyun Jun Park, Market Gallery, sponsored by Magic Rock and the School of Art, Design and Architecture at the University of Huddersfield.

Launch: New project developed between the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (hcmf//), the Centre for Research in New Music (CeReNeM), and the Electric Spring festival of electronic music, plus DJ Abigail Ward courtesy of the Yorkshire Sound Women Network.

Preview: Hoot Creative Arts installation

Preview: ‘Our Market’, a project involving artists Jude Lin, Amanda Allan, Phil Moody and Naomi Williams, that is a week-long visual interrogation of the market
