Join us for our next Temporary Contemporary Happening in Queensgate Market. A chance to preview the new exhibition in the Market Gallery and view artwork by artists on display in vacant stalls.

Time: 5 - 7.30pm
Entrance will be via the Piazza Arcade (opposite Library and Art Gallery) where you can also view the ame exhibition 'through the windows' and work by Collaborati and Colouricity.

In Queensgate Market the new Temporary Contemporary Market Gallery exhibition is Windows into Worlds - an audiovisual exhibition and installation showcasing new connections between performing arts and digital video. It includes original artistic research from Dr Ben Spatz’s Judaica project alongside contemporary performance-based films by VestAndPage (Germany) and Studio Matejka (Poland), as well as a growing network of performers exploring video lab methods. There is also an Open Lab space where the public is invited to explore embodied audiovisual creation.

Echoes of a Market project by Parley and artists
Phase 2: The Sweet Spot from Nov 15 - Dec 16th
The Sweet Spot will feature sound and visual art created in response to the listening and collection of sounds and stories captured in Queensgate Market during phase 1.

There is also work on display from Matt Browne, Tracy Petrie, Jo Wilkinson and Architecture students from the University of Huddersfield.

Parlour will be open and welcomes visitors to the Happening
