Parlour joins Temporary Contemporary

We are please to be joined in Queensgate Market by Victoria from Parley who has set up the Parlour space in the market, just along from the Market Gallery.

Parlour is a pilot project and space to encourage arts and artist development opportunities in the district. Parlour will begin with a conversation around ‘artist development’, what’s currently available, of interest and need, the strengths, the gaps and the opportunities.

Parlour is open every Tuesday and Wednesday - drop in and have a chat.

Temporary Contemporary is an initiative which places contemporary art in vacant spaces within Queensgate Market. and is a partnership between the traders at Queensgate Market, Kirklees Council Markets and Creative Economy Teams and the School of Art, Design and Architecture, University of Huddersfield. www.creativekirklees.com/temporary-contemporary
