Market Showcase: Save our Rainforest

Huddersfield Art Society is staging an exhibition on the theme of 'Parrots' at Queensgate Market from 16 - 27 April. Organised by Society member Judy Hinchliffe, this exhibition is intended to raise awareness of the destruction of rainforests and the resultant threat to wildlife, represented by the exotic parrots.

The Save our Rainforest exhbitiion is part of the Temporary Contemporary Initiative - collaborating with artists and placing contemporary art in vacant spaces within Queensgate Market.
