Market Showcase: Plastic Water installation by Hoot participants
Plastic Water is an ideas driven, environmental project, carried out by participants at Hoot Creative Arts, looking at the use and re-use of plastic and the impact we have on the marine environment.
Comprising of a large, wall based painting of the oceans, with a wire framework and a series of small sculptures made with waste plastic.
You can see the installation in stalls 75 & 76 in the middle of Queensgate Market (near the blue café).
Come to the exhibition preview at the Temporary Contemporary Happening on 21 Feb, 5 - 7.30pm or just drop into the market during the day from 22 Feb to 23 Mar.
This installation is part of the Temporary Contemporary Initiative - collaborating with artists and placing contemporary art in vacant spaces within Queensgate Market.
