Market Hardware: Drawing (Un)Convention Exhibition

The latest Market Hardware exhibition is the outcome of the second annual Drawing [un]Convention, a 2-day event that ran in November at the University of Huddersfield. This exhibition showcases selected student work and photographs from the convention.

The Drawing [un]Convention held various workshops by industry professionals from a range of disciplines such as Textiles, Graphics, Illustration, Interior Design, Architecture, Visual Diarist.

The Convention was a unique opportunity to engage with industry professionals who took students through varied approaches to the common language between all designers – drawing. Masterclasses included both physical and digital practices and demonstrated how this medium manifests across the creative career paths.
