Sussex Actors Studio is a new opportunity for emerging professionals to share and develop acting skills and techniques in a friendly, engaging and relaxed group environment.
Without the pressures of assessment or constant performances, it’s about your own development at your own pace.
COURSES
The 10 week term-time courses will cover various styles and techniques of performance, building your experience and confidence for the profession. From contemporary to classical plays, stagecraft to auditions, each of the weekly sessions will focus on a different aspect of theatre practice, led by an experienced theatre professional.
This year we are offering two Summer Drama Courses (7-10 yrs & 11-16yrs), working alongside our professional directors. Each course lasts one week and during that time you will create, rehearse and perform a unique piece of theatre, inspired by the children's stories of Oscar Wilde.
