Steyning Festival Steyning Festival 26th May - 10th June
Steyning Festival is now in its fifth year and offers something for all the family from young children, teenagers, adults and the ‘very mature’.
The festival kicks off with a Children’s Parade on 26th May and in the evening Neil Mullarkey performs his ‘Don’t Be Needy, Be Succeedy’. He is one of the original Comedy Store Players and one of his credits includes, Have I Got News For You.
There varied events cover the areas of Theatre, Literature & Talks, Walks, Music and Visual Arts.
Meet Children’s Authors Polly Dunbar & Alexis Deacon with their wonderful picture books for ages 4+. Sophia and the Snail for ages 3-7 years, is an inspirational show that looks at the importance of vegetables and how they grow – a fast and funny tale about one little girl’s journey towards overcoming her biggest fears!
There are lots of other events to enjoy ranging from A Night at the Opera, with professional artists to the theatre production, Operation Greenfield where four unlikely teenagers are preparing for Stokely’s Annual Talent Competition – with an eclectic mix of recorded music and visually brilliant.
