Museum and Gallery Programme Co-ordinator
Part-time, 30 hours per week
Inclusive salary range from £16,348 up to £17,655 for a 30-hour week, per year. 12 months fixed term contract.
Plus up to 18.5% employer pension contribution
St Albans Museums runs several sites including Verulamium Museum, the 15th century Clock Tower and St Albans Museum + Gallery, at the heart of the city centre. You will be joining the Museums team at an exciting time, 18 months on from opening a brand-new museum and gallery. You will provide support to the Museums team in delivering the exhibitions and events programme and a range of partnership projects. This will include (but not be limited to): helping to book resources and work out practical arrangements, supporting loans administration, collections documentation and providing support during installations.
An excellent communicator, you must have good IT and customer service skills. Previous experience of working in an administrative or a customer focussed job is essential for this post.
