The Poet's Quest for God
There is a starry line up at the next Ver Poets event on Saturday December 3rd at Waterstones in St Albans. This will centre on both religious – and agnostic and atheist poetry – details on this link:

Among the readers is American Barbara Marsh who won last year’s £5,000 Troubadour International Prize, Canadian poet and publisher Todd Swift who will deliver a tribute to Leonard Cohen, and multiple award-winner Hilary Davies who’s a past chair of the Poetry Society.
You will also hear from Tim Dooley who’s twice won the Poetry Business pamphlet competition, British-Peruvian Oliver Jones, author of Donald Trump: The Rhetoric, and Helen Lovelock-Burke, who once had 15 poems displayed on London buses.
You are invited to come and read your own short poem connected to religion – and meet the authors. Doors open at 7 pm for the performance at 7.30. It’s free– but you may be tempted to buy a book or two for Christmas.
