UP AND COMING

Our May production is the political comedy 'Up And Coming'. Written by Eric Chappell and directed by Pat Cook, this play is set at a Party Conference. All the action takes place in the Deputy Prime Minister's hotel suite. Members of the Cabinet are plotting to usurp the ageing Prime Minister. His deputy, Phillip Conway, is the leading candidate...he has a happy marriage and no skeletons in the closet. So why is there a scantily clad actress in his bathroom? Can he resist the charms of his secretary?.Why are there so many fireworks, and how does a kissogram girl fit into the plot.
