Evangeline, shadow puppets depict a legacy of Diaspora

I devised this original play with my New York theatre company, La Boca, intertwining verbatim stories from interviews with Hurricane Katrina survivors, performed by an ensemble cast, with Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's epic poem Evangeline, depicted through shadow puppetry, to give voice to the unheard, ongoing story of American Diaspora.
