Red Ball Mayfield School

Red Ball Mayfield School

I went to Mayfield School on the 22nd for my first day as part of the Red Ball Education Project following the visit to the bay by Kurt Perschka's Red Ball. I worked with musician Hugh Nankivell and 10 children between 11 and 14 with special needs. We are delivering a workshop designed by the Red Rubber Ball training and Coaching Company and we workshopped three main questions at Mayfiled.

Who helps you?
What would you do if you had lots of money?
What do you like, what makes you happy?

We played games, chatted and did various activities. Hugh wrote two songs and you can take a look at his blog on this site to see them and I wrote this poem from what they said. After remembering it and acting it out with them.

It was a great day and I enjoyed playing along with the groups and finding out about what makes them each tick. Looking forward to next Friday!
