The story of a young cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, who takes elocution lessons from dialect coach Professor Higgins, hoping to improve her future prospects.
Higgins bets his friend Colonel Pickering that he can turn Eliza into a lady in six months and the wager is accepted.
