‘32 Paintings’ is a celebration of the painting medium, presenting a diverse mix of individual artists with a plurality of themes and approaches. The paintings span a spectrum of genres from narrative and figurative to abstract; photorealist to gestural; from staged compositions to visceral expressions on the picture surface; and sometimes several approaches combined. All artists display a virtuosity with the medium.
