We are incredibly lucky to be close to the world renowned Brixham Fish Market and on this course, we’ll visit the fish quay, see the auction in progress and bring the catch of the day back to Occombe. We’ll learn what to look for when buying seafood, how to clean and prepare it and a variety of ways of cooking this fabulous seasonal food, that’s right on our doorstep.
Led by Holly Jones from Manna from Devon cooking school, this course will give you the confidence to cook more seafood in your own kitchen using a variety of recipes.
Meet: 6.30am at Brixham Fish Quay for a tour of the fish market. We will then head back to Occombe Farm Cookery School for a cappuccino and croissant followed by a seafood cooking masterclass.
