Time: 1pm – 3.30pm (2.5 hours)

This is a three-week in-person course in Floral, Botanical and Watercolour and will cover the basics of each aspect.

We will learn about these through simple step by step exercises, tutorials and demonstrations (possibly video).

Comprehensive lesson plans will be sent to each student prior to the class that will give guidance on the forthcoming lesson and include a list of materials required for each lesson. Basic painting and drawing materials will be used throughout each part of the course.

Who is this Course for?

This course is suitable for anyone who has an interest in learning how to gain an understanding of botanical drawing and painting, develop floral designs and use watercolour in this field.

Course Materials

The course includes; basic drawing and painting materials; cartridge paper, (sketchbook), watercolour paper, drawing pencils (HB, 2B, 4B), a permanent pen, watercolour paints.

You will need to bring your own set of varying sized brushes (soft and flexible) and any additional art materials that you have and wish to include as part of your personal kit.
